The Green Sage

One night, after having a non-local pizza pie, I wandered into The Green Sage for some coffee and a brownie.

The coffee was roasted in Raleigh, which is not the closest roaster to the Asheville area, of course.  But the coffee was fantastic none-the-less.

The brownie, though, was the best I'd ever had.  It was generously-sized, and satisfying without being overly rich.  A few bites was all that was needed to completely fill the "I need a brownie" urge.
